“Dawn was my primary childcare provider from the time my first maternity leave expired until I started a new career that allowed me to be home during the daytime hours. Starting in January of 2002, I dropped my year old son off at her home at 8 am to be picked up at 5 pm, 3 days a week. Dawn was always reliable, even in a last minute pinch. One thing that always warmed my heart was the way my sons’ eyes lit up as soon as he saw her. Although I always packed snacks, Dawn provided healthy homemade meals that my son absolutely loved. Dawn is an incredibly loving and hands on individual. Their days were filled with nature, music and art. My son was always sent home with crafts and pictures that they had made together. Dawn continued to care for my son until I went on Maternity leave a second time at the end of 2003. When I was ready to work again I was so relieved that Dawn was available and willing to take my two boys. Even though her workload had doubled it was not apparent in any way, I was always greeted with smiles and funny stories. One of the things I valued the most about Dawn was the fact that I was able to focus on my job 100%, knowing my two boys were safe, happy and excited about the time they spent in her care. I highly recommend Dawn as very experienced, reliable childcare provider.”
