Testimonials

Below are letters received by Home Healthcare Network from former clients, detailing their experience with our caregivers.

“I want to mention how much I appreciated the care I received from Marybeth in the past year. From helping me dress, shower and organize my life to her fabulous chicken soup for the soul. She was both a friend and caregiver, a fabulous cook.
Thanks,

“David and I are both extremely pleased with Tracey, our caregiver, who comes Mondays & Wednesdays. She is very calm, cheerful, intelligent, helpful and comfortable to be with. David enjoys playing backgammon with her. As David’s health declines, he is more reluctant go for walks. “

“Over the course of several years, we have employed the services of the Home Healthcare Network to assist us with the care for our elderly parents and have been very happy with the results. The care aides have been wonderful; all have been caring, responsible, and respectful in providing personal care to our parents, including assistance with dressing, hygiene, and mobility, as well as with preparing meals.  Working with Caroline and the office staff has also been a pleasure, as we found them to be equally caring and responsive to our family’s needs. We have no hesitation recommending this agency for others looking for assistance in the care of their loved ones.”

“As a family, we would like to express our thanks and appreciation to Jeanine. She was amazing with our mom throughout the 6 months they knew each other. Mom considered her a friend. Jeanine adjusted her activities & support seamlessly as Mom declined and offered wonderful respite for Pat & Ken. Please let Jeanine know how much we appreciated her and how much our Mom loved her.”

“Thank you for all of your help with my dad this summer (and possibly in the future, I’m sure). Your organization was organized, explained things clearly, provided help that was actually helpful, responded quickly to all queries and requests and provided staff who shaped themselves to my dad’s needs, rather than expecting my dad to shape his life and activities to your needs. I would highly recommend your organization. Our caregiver was BJ, and I also can’t say enough about how positive the experience was. BJ was kind, flexible, thoughtful and understanding of my dad, who is not the easiest person to deal with. He always put dad’s needs first and let him decide what he wanted to do. Again, I highly recommend him.”

“Our Family does not know what we would have done without Home Healthcare Network during the last 5 years of Mom’s life. It is difficult to adequately express in words the value of the care Caroline and her wonderful staff provided Mom. Dealing with Dementia was ever changing, and so were her needs. Our concerns dealing with dementia were always met with understanding, guidance, patience, and compassion. Home Healthcare Network was incredibly organized and able to respond immediately on extremely short notice. Every person who cared for Mom was so professional, kind, and considerate. Our Family will be forever grateful for all of them for making it possible for Mom to remain in her home, filling in the hours our Family could not be with her. Kathy, Lori, and Maria went well beyond anything we expected, and they truly felt like part of our Family. We would not hesitate to recommend Home Healthcare Network after our experience with them.”

“Our family has used the very valuable services of Home Healthcare Network for over one year now, 5 days per week, for my stepmom who has Alzheimer’s. The caring and compassion my stepmom receives is absolutely stellar. We are so comfortable with the lovely people that come in to care for her, that we consider them family members at this point. When our schedule changes, or new needs arise, the Healthcare Network is always available to meet them. This family is very grateful for their wonderful services, And we would most definitely recommend their services to anyone needing qualified, caring, capable home care support for their loved ones.”

“As the adult daughter of an aging parent I have had the responsibility of finding extra care and companionship for my elderly mother. It was a great stroke of luck for both of us that we were able to hire the Home Healthcare Network.

The caregivers provided help with her evening medication, dinner, overnight care, and, as it turned out much more during the months prior to mom’s move into a senior’s residence. It is a very difficult time for both the elderly person who is losing independence and for family members who need to accept this fact. Having the support of these warm and empathetic young women was an unexpected gift for easing the transition from mom’s own home into care.

We are so grateful to ‘our caregivers’ for their initiative and imagination in caring for mom. She was taken out for treats or to the beach to snuggle up and watch the sunset, or just out for an evening walk or drive. Her nanny would chat with her and go through old photos and mementos by the hour and mom came to regard them as ‘her girls’ …. ‘you know’, she’d say, ‘my young ones’. I thank the caregivers for their interest and empathy. What a special time for mom!

There was fine consistency in the care provided, both in staffing and routine. Our caregivers communicated daily with each other and with myself. Also, a daily journal was kept. As mom’s care needs increased the caregivers completely accepted new responsibility and always treated mom with great respect. If ever extra care hours were needed they were right there!

Mom’s ‘girls’ would often drop by just for a quick visit outside their working hours. They were at her 91st birthday party and again for a farewell.

I can recommend most highly the elder care provided by the Home Healthcare Network.”

seniorCare-2“I am the daughter of 91 year old parents, my Mom has dementia and my Dad is visually impaired.  There is such a feeling of helplessness when the parents that have loved and supported you start to fail.   There are so many questions and it is so hard to find the way to get help.   Luckily I found Sunshine Care Network.   They truly understand the challenges that the elderly face and have offered solutions to keep Mom & Dad in their home.  Caroline and the staff have made such a difference; they are caring and provide support that is so much appreciated.  Thank you! “

“I am extremely satisfied and pleased with the services Sunshine Care Network provided for my 89 year old mother while I was away. I am usually her caregiver and she cannot stay alone at night but I felt safe and assured that she would be just fine while Caroline and her team were on hand to help my Mum, every night for two weeks. They arrived at the house in the evening and made sure she was safely tucked into bed for the night. They locked up the house and made her feel calm and at ease and not alone or afraid. They were friendly and patient with her and made sure she was happy and comfortable before leaving in the morning. Both myself and my Mum can recommend Sunshine Care Network with complete confidence for their excellent level of elder care.”
